Our Story

The US Energy Update was founded in 2019 in the midst of large changes happening across the energy sector. We recognized the need to bring diverse energy stories together in a single location, providing unbiased commentary on events, and connecting multiple sources to capture emerging themes affecting the energy business. As the dramatic events of 2020, including the collapse of oil prices globally and the COVID-19 pandemic, unfolded, we elected to distribute our publication to a wider audience.
