  • FERC Forecast: U.S. Solar Capacity Will Double in Three Years

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission expects U.S. solar energy capacity, which stands at 77GW, to nearly double in just three years, with 72GW of solar projects queued through 2025, reports PV Magazine.

After an abundance of additions in the first nine months of 2022, renewable energy now accounts for 27% of all U.S. generating capacity.
