A record $105 billion was invested in U.S. clean energy industries in 2021, with the bulk of investment going to renewable energy and electric vehicle development, and a doubled amount invested into hydrogen energy technologies, according to Renewable Energy World.
Clean energy broke other records in 2021, with a record amount of new generation being added to the grid, and a record number of electric vehicles sold.
