Clean energy and battery storage are growing at a record pace this year, according to a new report published by the American Clean Power Association and highlighted by Axios.
9,915 megawatts of clean energy capacity came online in the first half of this year, a 17% increase over the first half of 2020. Battery storage installations from the first half of 2021 are already close to surpassing the total growth from 2020.
