The Government Accountability Office report published Monday shows that, thanks to two major oil spills in the Dakotas totaling 12,000 barrels, TC Energy has an oil spill record worse than the national average, reports Politico. The major spills both came from the Keystone pipelines, which TC Energy is seeking to dramatically expand with the Keystone XL project.
The new project draws into question the ability of TC Energy to construct a safe, reliable pipeline.
