Issues related to the wildlife impacts of wind power have been an anti-renewable energy talking point for decades.

Now advances in wind power siting methods have made the clean power source dramatically less impactful on avian species, and have reduced wind’s avian impacts to levels below those of even other competing energy sources.

That’s good enough for the Audubon Society, which has greater concerns about climate change impacts on species. They see greenhouse gas reductions, like those delivered by wind power to be a greater priority.
