A federal judge has rejected a lawsuit put forward to challenge Trump-era changes to the environmental review process for new pipelines, highways and drilling projects, reports The Hill. The move comes as legal battles continue across the country surrounding the development of multiple oil and gas pipelines.
“I agree with the defendants and defendant-intervenors that the plaintiffs’ claims regarding the 2020 Rule are not appropriate for judicial resolution at this time,” wrote the judge.
