Renewable energy sources accounted for more than 25% of electricity produced in the United States in the first five months of 2020, according to Renewables Now.
In May 2020, renewable energy sources accounted for an all-time high of 25.3% of the nation’s net eletrical generation. Wind and solar power continue to expand faster than any other form of electricity generation.
