In its recent Winter Fuels Outlook, the Energy Information Administration predicts that U.S. households will face high electricity prices this year, as retail energy prices for several fuels are at multi-year highs.
The recent spike in natural gas prices is expected to trickle down to the consumer this winter, which is also predicted to be colder than in years past.
