Enel Green Power, a renewables powerhouse, will add 1GW of battery storage to its U.S. energy portfolio, beginning with ‘The Lily Project’ , a solar-storage hybrid located just southeast of Dallas, Texas according to GreenTech Media.
The project will mark Enel’s debut into Texas’s extremely competitive power market, and will feature new two-sided solar panel technology capable of capturing sunlight reflected off the ground.
