More than 30 major corporations, including McDonald’s, Pepsi. Amazon, Microsoft and AT&T, have called on congress to include the clean energy industry in the next COVID-19 relief package, reports The Hill. Renewable energy has suffered from supply chain disruptions, construction delays, and other negative market effects of COVID-19.
“Without support, our businesses will be less able to use our buying-power to drive job creation and economic growth in the renewable energy industry,” said a letter written by the companies.
