Form Energy Inc, a four-year-old energy startup, has recently announced that it is developing an iron battery capable of storing electricity for days and feeding that electricity back to the grid, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The battery broadens the horizon for the use of energy storage to expand clean energy, and could allow energy produced by the wind and sun to be stored for days.
