Tesla CEO Elon Musk has threatened to move the company’s operations out of California after a dispute with local officials who have blocked attempts by Musk to reopen its electric vehicle factory, according to the Dallas Morning News.
“Frankly, this is the final straw,” Musk tweeted. ” Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately.”
While the move would be costly for Tesla, Musk had previous plans to build another U.S. factory, possibly in Texas, making the move feasible.
